András Pikó would smuggle LGBTQ awareness into educational institutions in Józsefváros. In accordance with foreign interests, the left-wing representatives refused to remove this from the agenda. Parents marched in with banners that read: Stop LGBTQ lobby! and Leave our children alone!

The left-wing majority of the municipality led by András Pikó decided to take an outrageous step, said municipal representative Orsolya Ferencz at the press conference held in front of the mayor's office on Thursday. As he explained: under the Józsefváros Equal Opportunity Program, the left wants to include the scenario of the LGBTQ lobby in local public affairs. In a district where Zsolt B.'s harassment case has not yet been closed, the left-wing local government intends to serve the needs of the LGBTQ lobby disguised as an equal opportunity program, hirnyolc.hu reported.

According to the document, public funds would be used to support organizations that bring sexual indoctrination (purposeful education subordinated to a political goal) into educational institutions, instead of finally leaving our children alone, he added. As he said: the Józsefváros parents have already expressed their demand to finally leave our children alone, which is why we asked them to take it off the agenda, but the Pikos swept this off the table.

"We will do everything to ensure that LGBTQ sensitization does not allow children to become victims of pedophiles and other cases of harassment either in Józsefváros or anywhere else in the country."

Demeter Szilágyi also joined this line of thinking According to him, this is particularly unacceptable because it can be clearly seen that the ideas that the left-wing leadership of the municipality is trying to bring to the district serve the foreign interests that finance them.

Orsolya Ferencz

At the meeting of the representative body, Orsolya Ferencz justified the initiative to withdraw the submission by saying that, in compliance with the legal obligation, one equal opportunity program (the Local Equal Opportunity Program, i.e. HEP) had already been accepted by the board, the newer one, i.e. the Józsefváros Equality Program (JEP) already includes the demands of the LGBTQ lobby.

After András Pikó refused to withdraw the proposal, parents marched into the council meeting with banners that read: Leave our children alone!, Stop LGBTQ lobby!
