Endre Ady, who never hid his political opinion, even if he had many controversies because of it, well, he wrote a good one hundred and twenty years ago that "a small nation must even take a radical breath". It is not easy to use this concept today, let alone interpret it. After all, we have experienced on many occasions the phenomenon that some terms in the dictionary of politics have become curse words in a flash, and even everyday concepts such as right-wing, left-wing and radical have been transformed into such terms.
A normal person knows about the latter, its meaning is nothing more than the admission that certain things can only be fundamentally changed. In other words, if, for example, a plant is shaken in its foundations and roots, or becomes sick, then there is nothing left but to try to plant an intact branch in good soil, to see if it gains strength and begins to bloom again, to the joy of many. It is no different in medicine, cancerous cells must be radically, i.e. removed from the body to the core, because if they remain inside, the end will be death. And this is certainly the case in society as well.
Today's political life is also crying out for radical change in many places around the world, even if this desire does not seem easy to achieve at this time. The world is writhing in a sea of lies, in the grip of warlike hyenas, and the infinitely conceited and overbearing lords of political life are trying to confuse the peoples so that they don't even recognize their own mother, with an armed wave of migrants showered on us en masse. After all, it's easier to control them that way .Human and drug-smuggling gangs run amok all over the globe, using proxy wars to bleed a significant part of the countries that do not want to go to war, and it is true that the leaders of Europe and the hyenas of America who write the recipes for them excel in these disgraceful acts. The campaign is being carried out under the motto "Eliminate everything that is normal and humane". Successfully, too, as the flowers of decay flourish. It cannot be denied that life and biology are based on strict rules. If we break these, chaos, destruction, destruction will follow. He came! It took only a few years for it to become part of everyday life. But that wasn't enough, violence also appeared, the forcing of abnormal, anti-life actions on us. Let these actions take place at home, in Europe or anywhere in the world.
Ady's radicalism, as well as that of others, in most cases encourages quick action and actions, which we have certainly failed to do in recent decades. Yes, the radical, radical changes. Many people would have liked it. I think all over the world. But the facts show that it is not enough. Let's dive a little into what are the actions that we, Hungarians, failed to do because of our ignorance and naivety, for example because we did not recognize the deceit of the West! Perhaps it would be more accurate to say: what they didn't let us do.
Well, for example, that we protect our industry worth protecting during the period called system change. That the Hungarian press remains in Hungarian hands. That we should not let in the corrupt and soul-killing, dumbing down, stupid tabloid products. So we were robbed mentally, physically and spiritually. And unfortunately, we couldn't take a radical deep breath to prevent all of this.
We became, and still are, slaves to the manipulations of those who produce theories that are intellectually alien to us. And, of course, we cannot be comforted by the fact that Europe itself has been struggling since then, with the immigrant masses seeking to disintegrate their national existence.
And meanwhile the Earth is shaking. Not only in Turkey, but also on the political scene. It shakes restlessly. What a language joke! Just a little reminder! The Iraq war broke out exactly twenty years ago. And if we look at the reports and articles from that time, we can say with a bitter taste that we learned nothing. The world has not changed radically, but in no way. Even though Schröder, the chancellor of Germany at the time, voted for the war against Iraq in the UN Security Council, even though France also advocated this position, just as the Pope prayed for peace, even the Kremlin and the vast majority of the peoples of the world did not go along with him. "Even a small nation needs to take a radical breath," I quote Endré Ady again. Small nations did not play much of a role even then, even though hundreds of thousands protested around the world against the war and neoliberalism. And let me add, also against the tsunami of lies. America whistled at the small nations, but also at the bigger ones, and in fact, the whole of Europe went nuts. He still does that today.
Of course, we've already learned to breathe deeply, we've been hurt so much, and we've also understood that air is essential to staying alive. But it is probably not enough to force radical change, although there are miracles.
If we think about whether some kind of radical change will or can happen, a radically different, more human way of life for the world, then I definitely only say and believe that
there will never be real renewal in the world if the moral foundations of life are not renewed. So the lesson is over, let's take a radical breath.
