The Hajdúnánás Kendereskert - Hungary's most beautiful fruit-growing and horticultural estate - has now been enriched with a new gift.
As the category winner of the Hungary's Most Beautiful Property competition, the municipal farm was entitled to win the final prize of the national competition as well as the audience prize. The latter was successful, so the municipality of Hajdúváros was able to collect another prestigious recognition.
Today, we reached another beautiful result of a process that resulted from the work of many people from Hajduna. More than ten years ago, we formulated a motto: tradition and innovation, in the spirit of which we started the re-enchantment of the Kendereskert, in order to bring the pastoral traditions and customs of the past closer to the people.
Mayor Tibor Szólláth said in a post published on his social media page.
On August 1, the city manager informed that the Kendereskert also won the 2023 Audience Award for Hungary's Most Beautiful Property.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the public employees working in the Kendereskert for the past ten years, whose work has resulted in thriving animal husbandry and crop cultivation, so that quality food is delivered to public catering and the farmers' market.
