According to a recent research, most people are worried that the state will forget about them.

The research was reported by Portfolio following Sky News

According to a survey conducted by Gradus Research, 72% of Ukrainian soldiers wounded in the war fear that the state will forget them as soon as they return to civilian life.

Half of them are also afraid that they will not be able to find a job after the end of the war, or that they will not be able to get used to a calm life.

About a third of soldiers worry that the injuries they have suffered will affect the attitudes of those around them.

The situation is aggravated by the fact that these anxiety-causing fears are not limited to the number of several hundred thousand frontline soldiers, but reach a significant part of Ukrainian society:

another survey conducted in June found that nearly four out of five Ukrainians have a close friend or relative who has been killed or wounded since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
