People can benefit from technology, but it is important that developments are transparent.

Media researcher Zoltán Szűts called the appearance of the artificial intelligence-created character of the public television program Delta as epoch-making in the M1 current affairs channel's program Ma reglegg on Sunday.

A week ago, a presenter created with the help of artificial intelligence presented himself in Duna's scientific and educational program. The appearance, face and voice of the presenter, named Bíró Ada, were created by artificial intelligence.

According to media researcher Zoltán Szűts, dean of Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, the curiosity, serious interest and media attention surrounding the appearance of Ada indicate that the technology is revolutionary and epoch-making.

He said:

the interest in the real-looking, machine-made host is significant because until now the technology was mostly known in connection with the generation of texts, but in Delta the artificial intelligence speaks practically by itself in three dimensions, with excellent image quality.

We have never seen anything like this on the screen: Artificial intelligence created the host of Delta

Zoltán Szűts believed that people will benefit a lot thanks to technology, it can make their work and life easier in the future, and it can make medicine and education more efficient, and the latter can be personalized.

At the same time, it is important that the development of the technology is transparent, and when using the produced content, it must be indicated that it was created by artificial intelligence, and even, where appropriate, "what it learned", from which content it acquired its knowledge

- drew attention to the media researcher.

The show Delta is broadcast on Sundays from 16:10 on the Danube; Bíró Ada, the image and language model created with the help of artificial intelligence, will next appear in the program with interesting scientific facts.
