Tímea Szabó and many others from the ranks of the opposition squealed that most people die in Hungary as a result of the coronavirus infection. This was just one of their capital lies.

We do not claim this, but experts from the University of Washington do. According to their recently published study, there are significant discrepancies between the mortality data published by individual countries and the reality, the smallest discrepancy in Hungary, where the multiplier is only 1.3. This means that, according to a study by the University of Washington, the death rate is 34 percent higher than the official one.

With this estimate, Hungary slipped from the much-talked-about podium position to 16th position. Official figures reflect reality better than in many other countries.

In the table of the University of Washington, the projected registered and real death rates per 100,000 inhabitants were compared for the first twenty countries. The result was obtained by comparing the death data with the statistical indicators of an average year not related to the epidemic, and then adjusting the numbers for a series of other factors related to the pandemic.

The final result only takes into account deaths directly caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

According to the researchers, the number of victims was grossly underestimated in countries such as India, Mexico and Russia , where 400,000 more people died per country than the official death toll. In some countries, including Japan, Egypt and several Central Asian countries, the study found the real number of deaths was more than 10 times the reported figure.

Based on the study, it is clear that the death campaign of the left-liberal opposition and the credibility of the opposition have failed miserably. The question is whether they are willing to acknowledge their failure, or whether they want to continue lying with unchanged zeal.
