In the framework of the Free University of Europe, the house of the Bible was handed over on June 24, 2021, at the People's University in Lakitelek, in Hungarikum Liget.
Sándor Lezsák, the vice-president of the Parliament and the head of the Lakitelek Folk College, said: "We are preparing for the World Eucharistic Congress by erecting a building for the Book of Books, the Bible."
A building where, in the coming decades, visitors will write the text of the Bible by hand. The Bible is constantly being copied from the screen projected in the Bible house. One day, everyone can only write one sentence - said Sándor Lezsák.
The first sentence was written down by parish priest Ferenc Bagi from Lakitelek and Reformed pastor Géza Kókai from Lakitelek, after which the students of the Free University of Europe wrote down the next sentences of the Bible.
