Sven Tritschler, representative of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), recently spoke about the Hungarian legislation in the North Rhine-Westphalia provincial legislature.
He stated that he is very happy that in Hungary parents are entrusted with the upbringing of children, and nothing is wrong with gender ideologues.
"As a homosexual, I invite abortion lobbyists and pseudo-scientific charlatans to represent me. People who think there are 173 genders," he said. Tritschler, who said he was grateful to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for closing the Balkan route in 2015 and thereby slowing the inundation of Germany with Islamists. because in doing so, he did much more for the sexual diversity of Germany and Europe than those waving the rainbow flag.
The European Parliament will discuss the Hungarian child protection law and the status of the EU proceedings against our country and Poland during its plenary session in Strasbourg on Wednesday. A motion for a resolution is also being prepared on the legislation, in which the Parliament - according to Politico - asks the European Commission and the Council to initiate official legal proceedings against Hungary for violating EU law.
"The submitted proposal is another political hysteria in a case where there is no EU competence and whose inclusion on the agenda is based on untrue claims. The Hungarian representatives must make it clear that the law is about the protection of children, and a prerequisite for any debate is an accurate knowledge of the law," György Hölvényi MEP responded in his weekly newsletter.
