Last year's protocol will not be repeated in the college and university freshman camps: this year, you will only be able to participate in these events with a protection card, reports Magyar Nemzet.
Compared to last year, the rules of the freshman camp have changed: those who participate in such an event this year can experience the memorable start of their college or university years more freely and calmly. The institutions also held the freshman camps last year, but then many epidemiological regulations had to be followed, for example, in addition to the introduction of social distancing and the use of masks, there was also no question of a community of more than five hundred people coming together. It will be different this year.
"The freshman camp is a defining period in building college and university communities, forming new friendships and smooth integration. In order for the test to be negative and the mood to be positive, great emphasis must be placed on protecting the health of all camp participants, " wrote Tamás Schanda , Parliamentary and Strategy Secretary of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, on her Facebook page.
Tamás Schanda also informs that the ministry has put together a package of proposals for the universities to organize and conduct the freshman camps, but the basic rule is that you can only participate in the events with a protection card.
