Sopron's interim mayor Tamás Terézváros has once again decided that only Hanukkah candles will be granted permission to use public space in the frequented part of Nyugati tér, - says the statement of Mi Hazánk Mozgalom. The movement maintains the ecumenical double cross claim with civil disobedience, because Hungary belongs to the Hungarians!

"The mayor previously rejected our application for the use of public space on the grounds that there was no space on Nyugati tér... Later, he openly admitted that he discriminated against us on political grounds. Unfortunately, following the mayor's petty decision, it is not surprising that anti-Christianity has escalated into violence, our consecrated cross has been vandalized several times (even during Christmas!) after the instigation of the district leader. - continues the announcement.

"According to Mi Hazánk, the world of thought of Christianity should be a part of our every day, so symbolically we do not even allow crosses to be locked in churches. Based on this idealism, we proposed the introduction of religious and moral education in schools, the state recognition of church weddings, and our heart-felt proposal to protect fetal life is also based on Christian ethical foundations!" - says Előd Novák in the article.

Speaking with Jókai: God is one! We all live in God, God cannot be appropriated. Everyone has the right - without disturbing the religious feelings of others - to live their personal or community faith as deeply as possible, everyone can immerse themselves in the great holiday rush - even on the way - at the most sacred symbol of their soul. I firmly believe that a Buddha statue, a Shiva message, or a glorification of Allah would be banned in Sopron. Just as the Hanukkah candles are quite rightly dimmed.

Hungary has been a Christian country since Saint Stephen. Wherever the cross is erected, the redemption of the Lord Jesus is proclaimed, in honor of whose birth Christians light candles in Advent, the flames of faith, hope, joy, and love. The double cross is one of the elements of the Hungarian coat of arms, which has spread widely from Hungary throughout Western and Eastern European coats of arms. The Nazis and the Communists also persecuted Christianity! I thought I would!

What does Soproni want now? Maybe you could put an Advent candle next to Hanukkah. If he doesn't dare openly because of his fellow party members, then by stealth at night, like Nicodemus.
