The creators of the film about Petőfi have set themselves the goal of making the most spectacular domestic adventure film of all time, for which they won a 4.5 billion HUF grant from the National Film Institute's Film Industry Jury, the panel said in a statement. Of this, HUF 2 billion is support provided based on a unique government decision in connection with the 200th anniversary of the birth of Sándor Petőfi.

Now or never! The film tells the story of the events of March 15, 1848. One of the exciting challenges of the monumental production by producers Péter Fülöp, Zoltán Csincsi, László Kriskó and Philip Rákay, cinematographer Tamás Dobos and director Balázs Lóth is the historical revival of 1848 Pest-Buda with the legendary Pilvax coffee house and the Landerer printing house, handed over in 1847, with a beautiful National Museum, markets, fairs and

as a symbol of Austrian oppression, with the muddy, dusty squares and side streets running through the film.

The set complex of a volume not seen for a long time is being built by the production at the film production base of the National Film Institute in Fót, and will become the property of the Film Institute after the shooting. According to Narancs.hu, the 8.5-hectare plot is being purchased from the National Film Institute of Fót City Municipality. The paper understands that the city's Financial, Legal and Economic Committee recommends to the representative body to agree to the sale of 50 percent of the ownership of an inland plot of more than 8.5 hectares to the National Film Institute Zrt. at a net price of at least HUF 11,500 per square meter. The exact purchase price is not mentioned in the proposal, but according to the portal's calculations, it is approximately HUF one billion.

The multi-functional, easy-to-shape set of new sets - as well as the medieval town set, which has been in almost continuous use since the 1980s - will be used by additional productions in Fót.

During the 106-day shooting, which will begin in April 2022, thousands of extras and nearly 200 speaking actors will work together, the main actors will be revealed by the production. The Now or Never! The film will be shown in cinemas in 2023, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Sándor Petőfi.
