It leaves behind a lot of twinkling eyes and "beating in Hungarian" hearts as soon as the giant Szent Korona hot air balloon rises and sets off on the wings of the clouds. This hot air balloon symbol is meant to emphasize Hungarian survival and unity in the Carpathian Basin. Magyar Nemzet conducted an interview with its creator and creator, Ferenc Mede, an entrepreneur from the highlands.

Ferenc Mede regularly indulges in one of his favorite pastimes, hot air ballooning, since 1998. Initially as a passenger and attendant, he has now graduated as a pilot. His other area of interest has been collecting and understanding information related to the Holy Crown for many years. The idea of designing and making one's own hot air balloon was finally born from the meeting of these two interests.

The creation of the hot air balloon took nine months from concept to completion. Painters, art historians, historians, experts who know the mystery of the Holy Crown were involved in the work.

The Szent Korona hot air balloon praises the work of one of the most modern hot air balloon manufacturers in Europe, the Kubicsek family business based in Berény, Moravia. Its dome was completed in almost four months and was preceded by about five months of graphic and reconstruction preparatory work. Art historian Gábor Pap provided comprehensive expert advice and assistance in the sacred and essential work of the preparations. In the lower part of the dome, there is a slightly modified version of the wonderful, ceiling, cassette painting by the painter Sándor Makoldi, which brings to life a well-known scene from Hungarian mythology: the meeting of Hunor and Magor with the daughters of King Dul, all within the framework of a star myth, i.e. in accordance with the order of the year cycle. With its dome volume of 2,200 cubic meters, the balloon belongs to the category of sports and competition balloons.

Their plans include flying around historic Hungary and visiting the locations where the Hungarian Holy Crown stayed throughout history.

"The Szent Korona balloon initiative is a kind of mission for us," said Ferenc Mede.

A mission whose goal is to bring the most important symbol of our nation and, at the same time, a real sacred object, back into the public consciousness.

At the same time, he is the personification and operator of a higher, sacred and essentially balanced power, which, as he said, has no equal in the world according to our current knowledge. It has happened several times that as soon as the balloon rose into the air, the audience involuntarily started singing the National Anthem, noted Ferenc Mede.
