Piroska Kontha Benőné Molnár, president of the Reformed Danube Minority Diaconia, founder of the Majosházai Hospice House and the Reformed Szatmárérté Közhaznú Egyesület received the value-creating communities award this year.

The national network of Civic Centers is celebrating its 10th anniversary. On the occasion of the jubilee, the 1st Civil Conference was held on February 4, in the Grupama Arena, at which many Reformed organizations were also represented. At the event, the prize for Value-Creating Communities was presented for the third time, which this year was awarded to Piroska Kontha Benőné Molnár, president of the Reformed Danube Regional Diaconia, founder of the Majosházai Hospice House, and the Reformed Szatmárért Public Benefit Association.

The awards were handed over by Gergely Gulyás, the Minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office, who said in his speech that real civilians are those for whom "this landscape is not a map", but recognize the problems of people and local communities and develop practical solutions. The minister sees the story of this year's prize winners as instructive and motivating and wishes them strength to continue.

Kontha Benőné Molnár Piroska, the leader of the Reformed Danube Minority Diaconia and the founder of the Majosházi Hospice Ház, began her work after a family tragedy and built her helping organization based on Reformed foundations. Since 1996, his association has helped more than a thousand families. Zsuzsa Fekete previously made a portrait interview with Benőne Konta:

The Reformed Society Szatmárért Egyesület, headed by István Fülöp, head of the Synod's communication committee, also received an award for Value-creating Community. Reformátusok Szatmárért has been operating since 2011 and tries to nurture the religious tradition and cultural unity of the historic Szatmár county, which today belongs to three different countries. The association published the reprinted Vizsolyi Bible in Nagykároly on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
