The Capital Court changed the first-instance court order.

According to information from Magyar Nemzet, the Capital Court changed the first-instance court order and declared the teachers' strike held on January 31 illegal.

The Democratic Union of Teachers (PDSZ) and the Union of Teachers (PSZ) announced on the afternoon of January 28 that the court had ruled in their favor in the first instance regarding the still sufficient service, so it stated in its order that according to the rules submitted by them, Monday's strike. The Ministry of Human Resources responded to this by saying that due to the appeal period, Monday's teachers' strike cannot be legal, and therefore asked the two organizations to wait for the final court ruling.

According to EMMI data, less than a fifth of teachers nationwide participated in today's strike.
