Thanks go to the Union and NATO, which act soberly. The Hungarian delegation, with the participation of Viktor Orbán and Péter Szijjártó, radiated wisdom and provides a guarantee for the peaceful life of Europe's civil society - the president of CÖF-CÖKA, László Csizmadia, evaluates the EU and NATO summit in his statement.

"Our civil society awaited our prime minister's appearance at the EU and NATO summits with deep concern and with the support of the March 15 Peace March. In addition to the future of our children and grandchildren, the overall survival of the Hungarian nation was at stake. The aim was to avoid armed intervention from the Ukrainian-Russian war activities.

It is clear that, according to the unified position of the 27 member states of the Union, the Russian aggression must be stopped immediately in all possible ways. Ending the war is the indisputable wish and hope of the entire European population. The leaders of such a broad community as the Union and NATO represent the interests of their country, taking into account the wishes of their people. Wills may also differ in terms of armed intervention and the expansion of sanctions.

The decision of the Union and NATO represented the power of alliances and the democratic display of equality, as it wanted to secure a future for the peaceful life of the inhabitants of the world, including Europe.

The adopted resolutions show direction to the governments of Central and Eastern Europe and point to the need for reasonable compromises. Emotional politics must be kept in check. It cannot be disputed that Russian and Ukrainian citizens are on the side of peace, the leaders of their countries must acknowledge that mothers in both countries do not give birth and raise their children as cannon fodder.

Thanks go to the Union and NATO, which act soberly. The Hungarian delegation, with the participation of Viktor Orbán and Péter Szijjártó, radiated wisdom and provides a guarantee for the peaceful life of Europe's civil society.

They earned the trust of our citizens. Thank You."
