"Problem solved!" - wrote George Simion , the party president of the extreme Association for the Unification of Romanians (AUR) next to the photo published on his Facebook page, which shows that one of the marker stones on the top of Székelykő in Torocko is now painted in Romanian national colors, and a Romanian flag has also been attached to it.

As you know, last Saturday Katalin Novák also visited Torockó, famous for its unique built heritage, as part of her private visit to Transylvania, and at the same time she also climbed Székelykő, which rises above the village. Several photos were published about this - in one, the head of state is standing next to the summit marker stone painted in the Hungarian national colors.

As is well known, the Hungarian president's private visit to Transylvania and some of his statements provoked strong reactions from Romanian government officials, politicians and opinion makers. The leader of AUR, who is at the forefront of increasing antipathy and inciting hatred, has now tried to "make amends" in this way. By the way, the peak marker located in Székelykő, which is a popular tourist destination, has been the subject of a kind of ethnic "dispute" for decades: sometimes it is painted in Hungarian, sometimes in Romanian colors. According to hikers, it is mostly red, white and green.
