A significant part of those who appeared at the farmer's demonstration eventually turned against Szabó, who was fooling the people.

Constantly asserting impossibility, Bálin Szabó tried to mislead public opinion, who stubbornly claimed that 1,800 tractor drivers were preparing for the demonstration in Budapest organized by him for August 20. However, the farmers did not agree with the now completely discredited left-wing politician, who is increasingly ridiculously clinging to his absurd claims, and did not go to the demonstration, which was hardly attended by anyone. A significant part of those who showed up eventually turned against Szabó, who made people believe, reports Magyar Nemzet .

Bálin Szabó wanted to lead the Hungarian farmers again, but essentially nothing came of the demonstration that the former socialist politician organized for Budapest on August 20. The demonstration failed completely not because of the bad weather, or - as Szabó tried to suggest - because of the authorities who wanted to prevent it, but because of the lack of interest.

There was no question that the Szabós could go to Parliament

Bálint Szabó kept talking about the fact that about 1,800 tractors from all over the country were expected to come to the capital for the farmers' demonstration, to which only a few hundred, mostly residents of Budapest, went.

Moreover, the demonstration could never have taken place within the framework stated by Szabó. The left-wing politician who organized the demonstration promised those intending to join the demonstration that they would be able to march on the lower wharf in Pest during the national holiday.

However, the police had already indicated well in advance that they would only allow the protesters to enter Dózsa György út, since the company organizing the holiday fireworks, not them, had permission to occupy the downtown location.

Despite everything, even early in the morning of August 20, Bálint Szabó tried to deceive his followers on Facebook by saying that there would be a major demonstration, for which only the permission of the head of the company organizing the fireworks was required, since the evening's festive program would surely be cancelled.

It was getting more and more awkward

Bálint Szabó asked the farmers to wait patiently until he informed them that they could leave for the capital. Even then, even the left-wing politician had to be aware that there would not be any significant demonstration, not only because of the extremely bad weather expected for the evening. According to our reports, hardly any farmers showed up at the meeting points in the countryside, so Szabo must have known exactly that he had finished the "huge demonstration" he had dreamed of.

he logged in live on Facebook again and talked about the fact that the farmers have to wait longer because there is no final decision on the location of the demonstration yet. Even then, the left-wing politician falsely claimed that thousands were waiting to go to Budapest with their tractors.

Even his own Facebook followers did not believe Szabo

By this time, however, the public mood had already turned against Bálint Szabó. In the comments written on his announcement on Facebook, more and more people came out against him and, expressing their doubts, demanded that he publish footage of the fact that tractor drivers are really waiting en masse to start in different parts of the country.

Szabó did not comply with these requests, but in a video login , he asked the farmers to go to Budapest to Dózsa György út to hold the demonstration. However, the farmers did not fall for the back-and-forth left-wing politician and did not go to the "farmers' demonstration with a tractor" that was a total failure.

Instead of tractors, there was pushing at the "farmers' demonstration"

Thus, in the evening , only a few hundred protesters, according to local reports, mostly from Budapest, gathered on Dózsa György út, where no tractors could be seen.

During Bálint Szabó's speech, more and more shouters asked where the farmers and the promised tractors were. The people's frustration was palpably turned towards the organizer.

A protester began to demand that Szabó at least show pictures of the farmers trying to go to Budapest, call one of them, but the left-wing politician was not willing to do so. Several people began to push the young man who called him to account, and then a commotion broke out, while the supporters of Bálint Szabó tried to get the microphone back from the man who questioned him for leading the people and the failure of the demonstration.

It was not the first time they tried to take advantage of farmers

It is no wonder that Bálint Szabó did not succeed in deceiving the farmers, since this was not the first time that he wanted to lead them. As is well known , according to the waterfowl breeders who reported him, in February of this year, the employees of his company, Likvid Kontroll Kft., tried to persuade the farmers to pay a 10 percent brokerage commission for the agricultural subsidies due to them.

At the time, these attempts were made impossible by the ministry's announcement, in which it was explained that the transfer of the 1.9 billion HUF subsidy was carried out directly by the state treasury, and that there was no need for intermediaries.
