A German member of the European Parliament (EP) was recently accused of sexual harassment, but the EU body ultimately decided not to sanction the politician in any way.

German daily Bild reports that Karolin Braunsberger-Reinhold harassed both a man and a woman from among EP employees on June 5, 2022.

The politician of the German Christian Democratic Union (CDU) organized a wine tour with her two colleagues, her husband, and thirty members of the youth organization of the CDU and the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU) last summer. According to Bild's report, the MEP member poured a lot on his throat - he consumed not only wine, but also liquor - as a result of which he was no longer able to walk straight.

Karolin Braunsberger-Reinhold then got into a conversation with her two colleagues, to whom she told them that she was bisexual, that is, she was attracted to both sexes. Among other things, the representative used obscene language to tell the employees that he wanted to have sex with them. According to the report, he also grabbed one of his colleagues and rested his head on his shoulder.
