For weeks, a young Belgian father of two small children talked to artificial intelligence, a chatbot named Eliza, and then committed suicide.

The widow, who spoke anonymously, is convinced that if it weren't for Eliza, her husband would still be alive today. According to the widow, her partner found refuge in the chatbot after he became increasingly afraid of the consequences of climate change. Artificial intelligence answered all his questions, he trusted it the most. The widow said

the program is like a drug that her husband could not live without.

Belgian journalists, seeing the conversations, determined that Eliza only amplified his concerns and then tried to convince him that he actually loved her more than his wife.

It was also said between the chatbot and the man that they would be together forever in heaven.

The man shared his thoughts about suicide with Eliza, but the robot developed by an American startup did not tell the later victim about it. The man was previously treated by a psychiatrist, who agrees with the widow that the chatbot is responsible for the man's death.

Civilians Info:

More and more often we come across various robots controlled by artificial intelligence, on the way to the world of algorithms. Slowly we will not be able to distinguish between what is the real human voice and who will speak in the language of AI (AI). The other day, scientists were horrified to issue a communiqué calling for a pause in the development of advanced artificial intelligence until the security protocols of such constructions are developed, implemented and verified by independent experts. There are more than a thousand professionals , as well as big guns like Elon Musk, Steve Wozniak, or Yuval Noah Harari.

In his previous books, Harari, a professor at the University of Jerusalem, has already dealt with the idea that artificial intelligence and robot technology will take over the "power" of our everyday life so explosively that we won't even notice it. It creates a deceptive, unknown and therefore increasingly terrifying world around us. A world where we will be inexperienced in a lot of things, we will not have the competence to solve a series of newly arising problems, new, mixed communities will be created, where the AI will behave as if it were a human, or even a superior human-in fact God.

We look at robots, we fall in love with them, they stick with us, they have everything, but they don't have a soul. And that's the only thing that won't be. No matter how false Jesus they march into our holy city, no matter how they proclaim that they will save us from our troubles, that through them we can reach eternal life, or any point in the universe, even all at once (cf. Solaris), they cannot deceive God and his image in us.

Our soul's faith in God is the only one that cannot be penetrated by OUR tentacles, since we know exactly that we have a direct relationship with the Lord. Even if they infiltrate our communities - saying they make our lives better, solve complicated problems for us - they cannot destroy our personal faith. Because every single person has a direct relationship with the Creator, every single soul owes an account to him, regardless of his environment.

In vain the song of the siren sounds, we are tied to the mast of God and we cross the dangers. However, those who do not believe can be seduced and, like the poor Belgian, become a victim of robots.
