With the picture, István Hollik, the communications director of Fidesz-KDNP, reminds us of the border closure and of course its importance. In a post on his social media page, he writes:

Migration pressure is increasing. On the southern border of our country, our soldiers and police arrest thousands of illegal border crossers every month. We were even condemned for creating a temporary border lock, and today several other countries have a similar solution.

Six years ago we said what we say today: Hungarian families are the first, we will protect them at all costs!

If nothing else, it is worth recalling the attempted break-in at Röszke, where flat-faced instigators urged the crowd not to look at anything, just break through the fence.

Although we have already moved past this, and we are no longer talking about the border closure either, it does not hurt to recall it from time to time, as government spokesperson Alexandra Szentkirályi did on her Facebook page.

The country's security is in good hands. Thanks to our police and our national guards.

In addition to the laudatory words, you can also read about:

This year alone, around 40,000 illegal border crossing attempts were reported, which is almost four times more than in the same period last year. The police work with military reinforcement, and I could see for myself, with Captain Máté Hirmann, at the Bácsszentgyörgyi border crossing, that our country makes great efforts not only for the security of the Hungarian people, but also for the security of the whole of Europe.

This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that a total of 73 migrants were detained at the Bács-Kiskun county border section last night.

In light of this, it is even more saddening that the European Court of Human Rights agreed with the Hungarian Helsinki Committee in its judgment, saying that almost 72,000 people were forced back with the entry into force of the border closure, so the Hungarian police committed 72,000 unlawful measures.
