It is necessary to push the drivers out of Budapest - said one of the representative candidates of the DK in the ATV. According to Dániel Manhalter, no one disputes the fact that, as he put it, there should be as many bicaj as possible in Budapest. Mayor Gergely Karácsony spoke in the middle of the summer that diesel cars would be gradually banned from the capital in the coming years, M1 News reported.

They snake in long lines on Rákóczi út and stand in one place on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, XIV. and on Róna utca in the district, motorists can only drive slowly.

But the situation is no better on the lower wharf in Pest - there are more stationary than moving vehicles in traffic. Traffic jams and congestion everywhere. This is an everyday sight in the capital. Since Monday, the situation at Blaha Lujza square has been even worse than before, and according to many, the situation is unbearable - motorists also told TV2 about this.

"It's a tragedy, I can't go on a route where I can go straight for at least 200 meters that isn't closed," said one of them.

Due to the renovation of the square, one lane was taken away at the beginning of July, and now one more of the remaining two has been closed. In this way, the traffic flows on only one lane instead of three.

In the lanes created for cyclists, traffic is smooth, but here you can only find a single cyclist.

There is complete agreement on the left that motorists must be pushed out of the capital - this is what Dániel Manhalter, one of the DK representative candidates, said on Monday in ATV's Egyenes beszéd program.

The representative candidate of Ferenc Gyurcsány's party in Józsefváros and Ferencváros said all this after he had previously asked Gergely Karácsony to temporarily cancel the newly created bicycle lanes. According to him, there are much bigger traffic jams in the capital than before.

Gergely Karácsony has not yet responded to the DK politician regarding the return of the bicycle lanes.

Then maybe go on foot…

Earlier, this was the message of the mayor to those who drew attention to the traffic chaos in the capital. Not long after, he asked the people of Budapest to be happy about the development. "I ask the people of Budapest to be happy that the city is developing," said the mayor.

The secret left-wing plan has been exposed: the Karácsonys would drive the drivers out of Budapest - this is the headline Origo has now reported that DK's DK Manhalter Dániel said: drivers must be pushed out of the capital.

The portal also reminded that Gergely Karácsony also proposed banning diesel cars as soon as possible in mid-July. The Metropolitan Assembly can decide on how to do this this year.
