"We are making a fair effort to find good solutions and take the cause of civil, European Hungary to victory," wrote the president of the DK in his post.

In his Facebook post, Ferenc Gyurcsány called on his followers to unite and stand up for Péter Márky-Zay According to the president of the DK, everyone must slowly understand that "either the six opposition parties will win, or Fidesz will win. Either we win with Péter Márki-Zay or with nobody."

Gyurcsány  was probably referring to the increasingly frequent criticisms directed at Péter Márki-Zay from opposition leaders. As is known, at the beginning of December Anna Donáth criticized Márki-Zay's campaign strategy, but in recent days Gergely Kovács, the president of the Hungarian Kétfarkú Kutyapárt, also attacked the left-wing prime ministerial candidate.

In Gyurcsány's post, he writes: "I know, it is not easy for those who want to get information from the Hungarian public. I accept that sometimes it is impossible not to speak to responsible members of the public. But I am writing that we, whom you are encouraging with representations, are making a fair effort to find good solutions and bring the cause of civil, European Hungary to victory."

The first person of the DK emphasizes: it would help a lot if more people understood this "often tormenting internal struggle" and supported the common cause.

"Where there are many scratches, there is less light," concludes Gyurcsány.
