The child protection teacher who opposed gender reassignment surgeries may be fired from her job. A Milwaukee elementary school counselor is under state investigation for "immoral conduct" after speaking out against "gender reassignment" surgeries on children.

Marissa Darlingh received a letter from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction on April 29 warning that her state license could be revoked if an investigation determined that she engaged in "immoral conduct" at a feminist (!) rally in Madison.

(DPI) has launched an investigation to decide whether to initiate proceedings against you to revoke your instructor's license. says the letter.

The letter specifically quotes Darlingh's words at the demonstration, with which he opposed changing the sex of children. According to a report and video submitted by a community member, you attended an event in Madison on April 23, 2022 identifying yourself as a school counselor. the letter continues.

In the video, he says to fuck transgender. You have stated that you do not believe that children should have access to hormones or surgery.

Darlingh admitted to attending the rally where he was one of the speakers.

"I am against gender ideology ever entering the walls of my school." Darlingh said, according to The Center Square.

“They can only learn about gender ideology through my dead body. None of my students under my supervision will ever, ever undergo gender reassignment.”

The DPI warned that the investigation would "determine whether there is any basis for allegations of immoral conduct" and offered the teacher the option to resign before the investigation, but Darlingh chose to fight.

On Wednesday, the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty promised to file a lawsuit on Darlingh's behalf if the state tries to suspend or revoke his license because of his objections to transgenderism or profanity.

The state is simply trying to punish a public school counselor for his views on gender ideology, said WILL's Luke Berg.

This is a classic, clear violation of the First Amendment (free speech - ed.), and the state faces a federal lawsuit if it happens. Darlingh said nothing will change his mind on the matter.

My views on the harms of gender ideology to children are informed by a desire to serve and protect children, Darlingh said in a statement.

That's why I got into education. I will love and serve every child in my care no matter what. But I will not retreat because of the threat of the state.
