Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin also took part in the Thursday morning operation of the special unit of the Serbian police, where machine guns, rifles, pistols, ammunition and a dozen stabbing devices were seized from migrants in several settlements of the country.

The authorities produced dozens of migrants, including people smugglers, in Belgrade, as well as in several border towns, such as in Subotica, Zombor and elsewhere, after combing the area as part of a simultaneous operation, wrote the Maglocistac news portal in Subotica. Many illegal immigrants were also expelled from the Kelebia forest. Aleksandar Vulin said: "Serbia is an organized and humane state where the country's laws must be respected. Not a single smuggling gang can get away with it, we will detect and eliminate all of them, and we will punish their members. In Serbia, no one can carry weapons or trade in people. The country will not allow it to become a gathering place for all kinds of gangs and the scum of Asia," emphasized Vulin, who said that Serbia is not a migrant park and does not allow the lives of its citizens to be endangered by criminals who trade in people's misery.

In Subotica and its surroundings, the number of illegal immigrants has increased significantly in the past period. The biggest incident so far took place last week, when they attacked each other with firearms in the Makkhetes forest. The showdown resulted in one death and several serious injuries.

The police and special police units pay special attention to Kikinda, Zombor, Szabadka and all those settlements where people smugglers "operate", and it can be said that the results are very good, said the Serbian Minister of the Interior, because during the operation three automatic rifles, rifles , four pistols, twelve different knives, machetes, and 182 pieces of ammunition of various calibers were seized.

A small amount of marijuana and psychoactive pills were also found with the smugglers, along with three fake IDs and passports.
